MYRIAM PRIETO AND MARIA VIRGINIA PALOMINO - BELEN LANA VIRGEN

 

 

Since 2004, Myriam Prieto and María Virginia Palomino, two textile designers own a workshop and focus on designing wool jackets, using techniques of hilado, tinting, loom weaving, crochet, cut, and macramé, create wool confections.  Wool weaving is an art that joins past and present, yarn is dyed and loomed by hand to create new colors and patterns in each coat, and the threads are hand woven into patterns creating a perfect texture.  This Design and Artisan Duo embrace a contemporary style in an unique and versatile way to create multiple looks with one piece.

Our ENARTE collection with Belen set out to re-define the beauty of wool and the sheik of leather to create contracts in adult coats and a new children’s line.  The result is urban edge meets zen warmth, a unique and striking combination.  ENARTE is the exclusive authorized retailer of  some of Belen’s designs in the U.S.
