LA TEXTILERIA

 

La Textileria, is directed by textile designer, Angela Galindo, and is comprised of ten woman who are single mothers and act as the head of household.  Each artisan works by hand to created unexpected designs full of surprises.  Here, what may at first seem ordinary is extraordinary full of zippers on bags that open to blankets and full of unique designs that are loomed to perfection. When you create pieces with Angela, you start with an idea and then take a journey as she determines how to create a more versatile piece.  She uses interesting textiles to create items with unique materials that are unmatched.

The ENARTE collection with Angela was about capturing her enthusiasm for the unique and our desire to create utilitarian pieces that are beautiful and luxurious.  Our ENARTE collection combines well made simple scarves with unexpected blanket bags…an so much more.
