VARO-RAMON VARGAS
Ramon , affectionately referred to by us and his peers in Restrepo as “Juan”. He knows everyone and everyone knows Juan Ramon. Juan Ramon has been largely successful in creating his own line of faux leather purses, VARO. Ramon has experience over more than 15 years . He learned leather crafting and confection work with the best of the best, working for important and traditional brands such as Trianon. The learning of the leather making processes almost cost him a finger, which put him on temporary disability for about five months but what it made him to experiment with the cutting and confection of his first bag. During this time, Ramon started commercializing the end product and decided to resign the manufacturing company he has working in to start his individual business endeavors. Today his workshop employs over 20 people and directs a satellite production of another 10 people. His brand, VARO CUEROS has expanded in the last seven years. Ramon has been acknowledged for its individual productions as well as for the handcrafting of bags for brands such as Azaleia, Sprint step, and Fallabella. Ramons’ ultimate goal is to be able to reach the international markets with his own brand. His pieces are bright and fun loving. Each of his creations are not like any other.
ENARTE partners with Varo to create a collection of Art to wear. Experimenting with different leather textures, our handbags and clutches accessories are outstanding pieces that integrate versatility and design.
